About Us

Founded in 1959. Gardner Bender has been innovating and manufacturing conduit bending and conduit fishing equipment, electrical connection supplies, tools and wire management products for electricians for over half a century. Inventor James Gardner borrowed dollar 1500 from his father-in-law to produce his first mold to begin manufacturing his aluminum conduit benders that contained double-levels to tell electricians they had a 45 or 90 degree angle of bend. Fueled from this success, innovation was born, and by 1969 he redesigned and an improved fish tape for pulling wires through conduit.

Easy to use to fix my outlet that was set too far in the wall. You get a lot of spacers for the price and they will be nice to have around if I run into this problem again. You can use 1 spacer or stack multiple together depending how far the outlet needs to come out. Does not fall off the screws when installing.

Good product, worked well for my outlets after my bathroom was remodelled and the boxes were deep due to the tiles around them. Used them to get it beautifully flush.

At 4 strips, you'll be using around 2 strips a box. So each package is pretty much good for 2 outlets, maybe 3 if you only need a little.

My issue is that, they only have 4 strips a package. Why not put more in the same plastic baggy? I was able to fit 15 strips (3 bags worth) in 1 bag. It'll be more environmentally friendly as well. Another way to improve the package is to have a zip lock function so it can be secured if you have some left.

Otherwise, 4 strips for roughly $5CAD is kinda expensive, but it's worth it if you're a DIYer just doing some quick repairs.
