I first heard of this about a year ago but never tried it until now. I really didn’t think it would make a difference but to my surprise it did.I did find that adjustment is key in using this splinter because if it’s too tight or too loose it will not help with plantar fasciitis.On the front of the strap it has what they call angle marks which turns out to be a great help.The first night I used it I had it pulled at an angle of 80 degrees which I found was too much and was uncomfortable and I didn’t sleep well. The second night I tried it at 90 degrees and it felt better. However, I still felt the pain in the morning with the first step out of bed but I must say it really was less pain. So I’m figuring that with more time and wearing this more often my pain can mostly go away.My only complaint is that with an open toe no matter what angle it’s at it put unwanted pressure on my middle toe and it was painful.

I’ve tried several night splints/braces for plantar fasciitis, and this is by far the most comfortable. I can even sleep in it - most of the braces I’ve tried had to be taken off within half an hour of going to bed because they’re cumbersome, hot, or uncomfortable. I wear a women’s wide 7.5 and have a 9.25” arch, so I purchased a Medium based on the size chart. It felt too long and loose, so I exchanged it for a Small and it fit much better. While a little narrow, the material is stretchy enough that it accommodates my wide foot.

My only complaint is that Amazon claims returns are free for this item, which is untrue. It’s only free if you live near a Staples. Otherwise, you have to take it to UPS and Amazon charges you.

I purchased this to sleep. It’s a lot more comfortable than the boot. I feel it pulls on my ankle but it isn’t a deal breaker.

Overall it works pretty well. I just think the base is too soft so it bends my toes more than my whole foot. Also, the toe opening appears plenty large but while I sleep my foot slides and there is undue pressure on my big toe which wakes me up and results in me removing the device.
Wrapping an ace bandage around my arch support slipper seems to work just as well without the toe issue. (It is bulky and does cause my foot to get quite warm, however!)

This splint is okay. It’s adjustable and worth the price. However, I think the bottom is too flexible and your foot will be bending. But, it will stretch your plantar area in your foot arch so it may be great for you. Give it a try. If it works for you it’ll be well worth it.

So, full disclosure: I'm not sure if my issue is plantar fasciitis, if it's related to Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, or something else - but every so often the arch of my foot & the sort of "band" of muscle/ligaments around the top of the foot above the arch get out of alignment and kind of swollen and painful. Sometimes this is also accompanied by a weird non-stop twitching/tingling sensation. When this happens, it usually lasts for several days, and the ONLY way I get relief is by applying pressure/compression to the arch. In the past, I've tried a foot massager (fantastic, but not exactly portable) and compression socks (helpful, but missing the targeted pressure of the massager). This splint is a happy hybrid as it has compression, pressure on the arch, ankle stability, and the ability to add a stretch via the adjustable strap.

I don't use this during my sleep (I'm a stomach sleeper, so this wouldn't work out too well) but the pressure from the sort of gel-ball arch support, the slight compression from the splint sleeve & the ankle brace portion give me a lot of relief during the day. I use only a very gentle stretch with the adjustable strap since for me the arch pressure & compression from the sleeve is the most important part. It even makes the twitching/tingling stop as long as I'm wearing it!

It does get a little hot & sweaty after a bit, so I do have to take it off for short periods to let the splint and my feet air out (also, you'll want to make sure you wipe down the splint to avoid gross foot sweat build-up like you would with slippers etc) and I guess that's really my only complaint, but I don't think it's even enough to mark it down at all, honestly.

It has been a very achy week for me so I've been super thankful to have this splint on deck. If what I'm describing sounds familiar to you, I would give this a shot!!

This is my review of the Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint from the Fitomo Store:
1. I was not sure what to make of this splint because it was soft. All the other items I have used for my plantar fasciitis were either hard or firm.
2. For me, I found that this splint was much more comfortable to sleep in than my other splint. It did not make my foot feel like it was falling asleep.
3. However, while it was more comfortable, I cannot say that it provided as much stretch as my feet need when I am inflamed. It did not seem like the stretch was quite in the right spot if that makes sense. I need my stretch through the arch, and this was more towards the front of the foot.
4. Depending on how flared up your fasciitis is, this might work just fine for you. Especially, if you just need some mild stretch for maintenance. I think this will be my main use of this splint.
5. The buckle was very, very convenient, but I did hit my leg against it a couple of times when I was flopping around trying to fall asleep.
6. It is important to measure your foot properly so that you are ordering the correct size. That will also impact how much stretch this splint is able to provide.

I`ve used this Plantar fasciitis in the evenings to help alleviate my foot pain , and it has worked. I cannot comment as to whether with continued long term use this will cure the condition but I intend to continue to use it. It is like a lightweight open back and toed "slipper" but much more robust. The material is nice , supportive and comfortable on . As far as I can tell the whole idea is stretching the tendons via the adjustable strap and relieve the pain of planter. It does seem like the toes are being stretched but this is not the case , they just bend back a little whilst the splint is on. I haven`t tried it overnight yet but will do as I am a walker and my planter does limit my ability to get out and about so I need to manage it. This splint is definitely worth trying and is probably a long term treatment not a quick fix.

Al principio tenía mis dudas porque veía la suela un poco dura y poco flexible pero cuando lo usé la primera noche para dormir me sirvió y mucho. Normalmente al levantarme por la mañana y apoyar el pie noto que me duele pero después de usar esta férula toda la noche no me ha pasado. Eso no quita que a lo largo del día me acabe doliendo pero al menos es un alivio empezar el día sin dolor.

Tiene una cinta ajustable con tres marcas de ángulos pero en realidad el nivel de tensión depende de cada persona y cada pie, ya que la férula es talla universal.

Ahora con el frío se puede usar bien pero en verano habrá que ver qué tal se lleva con el calor porque el acolchado que tiene es un poco grueso.

I have tried this a few times to help with some pain in my foot that everyone keeps saying is plantar but it’s had no effect on my foot. I’m not actually sure it is plantar and I thing it’s to do with flat feet. So this has little use for that. It seems to fit OK although it pulls forward a bit and it could do with having some soft strap or fabric that goes around the heel.
Overall it’s OK to wear for night use and is not that uncomfortable. For me it had no effect but I believe my issue is not something this brace can solve.

Hemos tenido la suerte de poder probar varios productos de Fitomo gracias a Amazon Vine y nunca defraudan. Usan buenos materiales y saben encontrar soluciones para mejorar tu calidad de vida en varias zonas de tu cuerpo. De lo mejorcito y más útil que hemos probado en casa. Por lo que estoy seguro de que harás una buena inversión si decides comprar alguno de sus productos.

En este caso, voy a hablar de esta férula para aliviar la fascitis plantar. Resulta muy cómoda y fácil de colocar. Hemos pedido la talla S porque mi mujer sufre esta dolencia. Tiene la talla 38 y le encaja bien. Trae instrucciones en varios idiomas y no usa en el envoltorio ni pizca de plástico. Todo cartón 100% reciclable.

Una vez colocada tanto en un pie como en el otro, ya que sirve en ambos casos, puedes ajustar la tensión de la correa para variar la inclinación de los dedos y conseguir así mantenerlos más o menos estirados, según tus necesidades.

Mi mujer ha dormido con ella y está encantada de la vida. Al principio resulta un poco incómoda llevarla por la noche porque no deja de ser una férula pero te acostumbras rápido y el alivio que encuentras por la mañana bien lo vale. 100% recomendable.

Estaría muy bien que indicaran en las instrucciones cuánto tiempo recomiendan ponerlo.
