Shame on me I didn't realize this until I got it today, and I haven't taken it with me to Yoorup yet.It has 3-prong 110VAC outlets with grounding plugs.But the plug that goes into the 220 VAC socket in the Eee-Yew only has two prongs, with no ground strap.How's that work? Are the grounding holes actually grounded?Should I really trust putting a 3-prong electrical device cord into this?I guess it will be OK for 2-prong cords, and also having the USB-A and USB-C ports is nice.UPDATE: Just returned from Yurip, worked fine. I didn’t plug any 3-prong cords into it. But I used it mostly for the USB outlets.Doesn’t seem to want to stay plugged into the wall; if I pull on the USB cable, the whole adapter comes out. No biggie, in fact I found it a convenience at times.

I bought a 2-pack of these adapters and took them on a trip to Germany. Plugged in my chargers for the iPhone, Apple watch, and laptop. Perfect! I was able to plug this adapter into all outlets at any of the hotels I stayed in. A great feature is also that the European plug folds away into the adapter, which makes it nice and compact for travel.
I just bought two more. Love them.
Please note: this device is NOT a transformer, but just an adapter. So the voltage delivered to the outlets is still 220 V. Modern chargers for phones, tablets and laptops have no problem with this because they accept input voltages between 110 V and (usually) 240 V. But be aware that you cannot bring your standard US hair dryer or curling iron to Europe and plug them into these adapters! They WILL overheat. (If you want to bring devices that allow only 110V input, you need to purchase a converter [= transformer], not an adapter.)
