Advertised as a 1-Gallon container but I received 4 individual quart (950ml) containers. Not the worst bait-and-switch, it is after all the same quantity of the same product (albeit with more packaging material). If for some reason someone REQUIRES a 1-gallon container, just note that you might not get it that way.

I am using this for camp stove purposes. It produces a lot of soot and smells like burning rubber if used in full 200 proof power. Thinking it may be because it is burning too hot, I started adding RODI water and testing it. I found that 5 parts alcohol to 1 part water made it burn the most efficiently, no soot, and smelled sweet. I wish I new what additives were in it for the denaturing. The seller did not reply to my inquiry. I've used it down to 18F outside. It took a little priming, but bloomed fine. In that kind of weather, it took almost 35ml to boil 600ml of water. I was ok with that. In better weather (60s on up) it takes about 19ml for 500ml of water. Since I use the Toaks Siphon stove, I just fill it up with a 50-60ml and let it do what it needs, then snuff it and store the excess. 4 oz is enough for several days, normally.
