By Applying Lawn Synergy's Safeguard 0-0-7 Pre-emergent, we apply a barrier that prevents weeds from germinating. This way, come summer, you don't have to chase weeds around your home.

0-0-7 Safeguard Pre-emergent is easy to apply and conveniently packaged. We have it available in 15, 30, and 45lb. sizes to accommodate small lawns all the way up to estate properties. Just open the bag, dump in your broadcast spreader, and apply.

Once the pre-emergent is watered in, its activated! Now you will have a barrier on your lawn or in your landscape beds and can spend more time with your family and friends.

When To Apply:

Cool Season Lawns

  • Apply Early spring BEFORE soil temperatures reach 55 degrees for 4-5 consecutive days.
  • Or Apply our 13-0-10 Guardian Pre-emergent early spring and again late spring. Includes Nitrogen and Potassium to feeds the lawn and get it jumpstarted.
  • *Note - will prevent grass seed from germination. Do not apply if you are planning on seeding in spring.

Warm Season Lawns

  • Apply in early fall for fall and winter weed prevention.
  • Apply again early spring for spring and summer weed prevention

    Too early to judge the product itself but can’t say much for the company. Product arrived 3 days later than planned therefore missing the best rainfall event. Also, the directions for use is very poor. I was hoping there would be a guide for using a spreader and in my case a a dropper. Fortunately the product looks like there is range of forgiveness in dosage. I TRULY HOPE SO.

    Bought this as pre-emergent for a gravel area, so far had over 100 weeds pop up in the last month. After spreading it we had a nice mellow rain the next day to properly water it in. I killed off all the weeds in the yard and immediately got more every day, still getting more after a month.
