The history of the DC logo. Top to bottom 

DC Comics has been partners with Warner Bros. since 1967, so a DC logo generally goes with a WB logo.

     Animation 

     DC Extended Universe 
  • Man of Steel: The DC logo, as well as the Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures logos, are depicted in the metallic-stone style of Kryptonian architecture in the film.
  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has the DC, Warner Bros. and Ratpac Entertainment logos made out of a faded metallic grey, while maple leaves fly across them from the right.
  • Suicide Squad (2016) had the logo in a neon decor and a harlequin patchwork design, seen here.
    • In the trailer, both Warner and DC's logo were turning around like lock mechanisms in time to the Joker's laugh.
  • Wonder Woman (2017)'s trailers had the DC logo in gold.
  • Wonder Woman 1984: Horizontal metal bars form the Warner Bros as TV scanlines. It shifts to the DC logo in the same style, and the bars fly back toward the camera.
    • The trailer had the logo in neon lights.
  • Aquaman (2018): The DC Comics logo appears underwater, seen here.
  • SHAZAM! (2019): The DC logo is red and appears from a thunderstorm, seen here, and without the Justice League animation. note 
  • Birds of Prey (2020): The DC logo gets a frowny face graffitied on it.
    • The trailers had the logo in shades of blue and red, Harley's hair colors.
  • Zack Snyder's Justice League: At the end of the DC logo, Doomsday's orange lightning bolts appear behind it, which leads into the opening with Doomsday and Superman's battle. It can be seen as the page image.
    • The trailers have the logo made out of grey rock, representing Darkseid's features.
  • The Suicide Squad has the logo accompanied by the Johnny Cash song "Folsom Prison Blues".
  • Wonder Woman (2017) and Justice League (2017) showcase the DC logo with animation of the Justice League, reminiscent of the Justice League cartoon intro and Alex Ross's artwork, seen here. note

     Television 
  • CW Arrowverse:
    • Arrow’s logos are dark grey and green and have arrows flying behind them.
    • Batwoman (2019)'s logos are red/black, set in Gotham City and have bats flying, as seen here.
    • Black Lightning's logos are charged with electricity. See here.
    • Constantine's logos are bronze and dark brown and surrounded with flames.
    • The Flash’s logos are red and yellow and crackle with lightning.
    • Legends of Tomorrow has three variants:
      • From seasons 1 to the fourth episode of season 4, the faded silver DC logo unleashes a blue burst of energy that transitions into the shiny silver WB logo, seen here.
      • With season 4's fifth episode and season 5, both logos are silver and have flames reflecting off them, seen here.
      • Finally, season 6 onwards has both logos in a mechanical layout, with its insides glowing orange. They are set inside the Waverider's portal, where that vehicle teleports next to the DC logo and flies towards the WB logo, disappearing at it does so. Additionally, Beebo is standing on the left of the WB logo. This can be seen here.
    • Naomi (DC Comics): The logos are shaded gold and set against a purple background, and sparkle with energy, as seen here.
    • Supergirl (2015) has two variants. In the Pilot, the logos are bright red. From the next episode onwards, the logos are red and blue and are brushed with by a cape.
    • Superman & Lois: Superman flies by the DC Comics logo and turns it into the WB logo. Both logos are red and blue, exactly like Supergirl (2015) before it, and are set on the Kent farm, shown here.
    • Swamp Thing (2019): The DC logo is set in the swamp, and is covered in plant growth, seen here
    • Stargirl (2020): The cosmic staff turns the DC Comics logo into the Warner Bros logo, in a burst of stars. Both logos are colored red and blue, Stargirl's colors.
  • DMZ: The TV series adaptation has the logo set in Manhattan Island, the DMZ's setting.
  • Doom Patrol (2019): The bronze DC logo is set against a dark blue sky, where a truck passes by as a transition into the WB logo. The albino donkey is also present, seen here.
  • Gotham’s logos are dark grey and have rainfall.
  • Krypton: The DC logo is set in space, and embedded with red Kryptonian earth. It turns green (the color of kryptonite) and explodes (foreshadowing Krypton's fate). The WB logo appears from the explosion, still shaded green. See here.
  • Pennyworth's logos are grey and set in London.
    • The second season's logos have additional rainfall.
  • The Sandman (2022): The logo is formed from shifting sands.
  • Sweet Tooth: The DC logo is set in the forest and made of wood.
  • Titans (2018): The DC logo is surrounded by shruikens (Nightwing’s tools) and is slashed apart (Beast Boy’s power) to reveal the Warner Bros logo surrounded by fire and shadows (respectively Starfire and Raven), as seen here.
  • Watchmen (2019)'s logos are yellow and falling with the smiley-face badge.
  • DC Extended Universe
    • Peacemaker (2022) has its logos in silver and red, and are accompanied by a spray of blood and a flock of doves. Seen here.

     Other 
  • The characters Johnny DC (and his female counterpart Jonni DC) are sentient DC Comics logos that make periodic appearances in DC Comics, either as a mascot or in Breakingthe Fourth Wall.
  • Joker (2019): The DC logo only appears at the end of the film, since it's not a normal DC Comics film.
  • DC and Audible's audio adaptation of The Sandman has the DC and Audible logos formed from sand.
  • The Superman 80th anniversary commemoration animation short featured the DC logo in Superman's iconic colors of red, yellow and blue.
  • A trailer for a Wonder Woman video game had the DC logo, along with the WB logo and Monolith production logos, appear made of metal, seen here.
