I recently purchased a pair of 20kg kettlebells They appear to be the same volume and dimension as the 24kg model I had purchased a couple of years ago. One difference I noticed was the medallions that display the weight of each bell, on the new 20kg models have the numbers raised up and are easy to read by touch, for those with low vision. The previous 24kg model has a smaller medallion with the lettering carved in, and not easy to read. The raised lettering on these kettlebells helps identify the kettlebells when the lighting is too dim for me to distinguish the colors.
The handles on these 20kg models have slightly more texture than my older 24kg bell. I'm not sure if the couple years of use have worn the older handle smoother. If the slight texture poses any issues as I build volume, I imagine some sandpaper should take care of it. Still much more uniform than other models I have seen at the gym.
