I'm trying to find something to dither images, ideally in ordered fashion with bayer 8x8, imageworsener is one program I like but it is only via command line, another is https://wunkolo.itch.io/pixdither ...can you please implement this? I would like to make a ton of pc-98 inspired/sierra dithered images...pretty please?

I see that I am able to replicate a little of what I am trying to do with dithering, replicating old shading/dithering patterns, particularly bayer, however, it is very much nested or buried within the menus, can you please put this in as a more obvious selection? see comment above please, also cupscale it is open source and free implemented too please.

I think it's a very good idea.
PixageFX actually uses some pre-made pattern images while dithering. We can reproduce this as many times as we want. But I think it will be better if we turn it into a system that users can add themselves. We will improve the dithering effect and the dithering parts in Pixelate effects.

Please keep sharing your suggestions. Also, if you haven't yet and are happy with PixageFX, please leave a positive review on our store page.

What you want is to select the specific region with a rectangle?

Not just with a rectangle but freely choose what, is there already a thing like that in pixagefx?? You know the way in pictures you put one thing blue and one thing is black and white? I would just very much like that to get something in colour or a piece of clothing in colour to have that edge in this software please.. I havent used it much as i havent built a project or building a project but WHEN I will build one I will use pixagefx as its freaking excellent for stuff.

Thanks. I'm currently busy with dithering algorithms exactly. We also add some famous algorithms like floyd-steingberg to existing dithering effects. In the next stage, users will be able to add the dithering matrices they want as masks. But our first priority is to add standard dithering methods.

super excited! Yes, I wish there were something like https://wunkolo.itch.io/pixdither with ordered dithering and various customizations (change color bit, sliders, etc, loading custom dither pattern, etc)...fantastic work! keep it up, thank you so much

The dithering algorithms in the example you show look like ordered algorithms. Check out the ditherin&halftoning effect we added in the new version. I think the ordered algorithms there will give you the result you want.
