Zhang Ziyi praises Angelababy's acting

2 Sep – Zhang Ziyi is not one to be stingy with praises when it comes to her fellow actors, as evidenced by her praise of Angelababy's great performance in the new thriller "A Murderous Affair in Horizon Tower".
On 1 September, the actress, who watched the said show, wrote a long post on Weibo about her thoughts on the drama, which she ended with a mention of Angelababy's acting.
She wrote, "I want to say that everyone's doubts about Angelababy's performance can be put on hold for the time being. Sincere and natural, it makes me feel not full yet. Her devotion and presentation in this role are worthy of affirmation."
The praise came as a surprise to Angelababy, and a solid proof of the actress' performance, especially since there are still many who expressed scepticism over her talent.
The actress had since responded to Zhang's praise, writing, "Thank you, sister Ziyi for loving our effort. I still have a lot to work on."
