Heidi Krieger and Hopkinton Part Ways
Press release posted on town website says finance director's job ended on last day of fiscal 2011.
Town Manager Norman Khumalo posted a brief message on the town website that Heidi Krieger is no longer the finance director for Hopkinton.
Khumalo thanked Krieger for her 12 years of service as town accountant and finance director.
Khumalo's message did not say whether Kreiger resigned or was fired.
"She has made a major contribution to Hopkinton and played a key role in the oversight and management of the Town’s financial affairs over many years," Khumalo wrote.

He wished Kreiger success.
Khumalo will ask selectmen to lift a town-wide hiring freeze at their next meeting on Tuesday, July 12, so a replacement can be hired for Krieger.
Until a replacement is hired or other arrangements are made, Hopkinton's finances will be handled by assistant Town Accountant Janet McKay.
