Hi everyone,
These are the most comfortable matte lipsticks I have ever worn. They are very creamy and will not leave your lips dried out at the end of the day. This review is on the shades “Natural” and “Tea Rose”.
They are a roll-up stick and are sized somewhere between a lipstick and a lip liner; the shape helps you apply it without going over the lines. There is about 2.5 inches of product in the tube; which I think is a fair size – it equals to an average lipstick amount.
The formula is unbelievably creamy and does not feel at all like you are wearing a matte lipstick. It doesn’t last as long as a true matte formula, which is more drying, but it is decent at about 3-4 hours of wear before fading.
Natural is on top, Tea Rose is on the bottom.
‘Natural’ is a beautiful nude which has a touch of beige and peach in it. ‘Tea Rose’ is a mauve-y nude which is a perfect nude shade for the fall/autumn months because of the purple in it. I usually mix the two shades together; with Natural in the center of my lips.
Have you tried these matte lip colors?

I wander around Tea rose so often but I have hesitations about it. Seems like it will leak into creases or will look like putty.

I liked the finish and formula and I didn’t notice creasing because it is so creamy. elf always has sales going on so you can get it when it is $1.50 🙂

Love this post! Are you in the U.S or? I can’t seem to find elf products in stores in the UK but I want to swatch in person before making any purchases. Love these colours!

I don’t have any Elf lip products. I have concealer, brushes, and 2 very large Elf eyeshadow palettes. This is the first lip product I’ve been excited about.

I love these! I have Natural and sometimes it is borderline “concealer nude” on me. I love Tea Rose though and the red one I forgot what it’s called is also really great!! Thanks for sharing!

Natural is very nude on me also that is why I like to mix the two shades together. I need to try the red one next!

Oh yeah I do that sometimes or I put a gloss over it! The red and there is a berry shade that is very gorgeous!

Is it the shade Rich Red? I’m happy to know that all the shades are the same formula, will definitely be trying out more shades of this!
