Maxime Pech de Pluvinel appointed Groupe BPCE Head of Communications

Maxime Pech de Pluvinel has been appointed Groupe BPCE Head of Communications. He will report to Nicolas Namias, Chairman of the BPCE Management Board. As from May 1, he will succeed Elisabeth de Gaulle who has spent 14 years as Head of Communications of Natixis and Groupe BPCE.

Aged 45, Maxime Pech de Pluvinel is a former student of France’s École Nationale d’Administration (ENA, René Cassin class) and a graduate of Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) Paris. He began his career in 2003 in the Ministry of the Interior as Chief of Staff to the Prefect in the Eure department then as Deputy Prefect of the district of Sarlat (Dordogne). 

In 2006 he moved to McKinsey as an Engagement Manager. In 2011, he continued his career by joining Natixis’s Strategy Department as Head of Strategic Planning.

Maxime Pech de Pluvinel was subsequently appointed General Secretary Communications by Natixis in 2018 then Head of Communications for the same entity in 2021. Since March 2022 with the creation of Groupe BPCE’s Global Financial Services division, he has also been deputy to the Group Head of Communications.
