Mobile PD: Bragdon Ave. shooting suspect in custody

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — UPDATE:

Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Lorenzo Blakely, 56, as the subject. On April 2, 2024, he was transported to Metro Jail.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

A gunman is on the run after a man was shot on Bragdon Ave. in Mobile Tuesday morning.

Police say they got a report of a shooting about 9:15 Tuesday morning.

When officers got to Bragdon St., they found one shooting victim.

The name of the victim has not been released, nor the name of the shooter police are looking for.
