Due to weather and other circumstances the size of your fruit may vary. If our harvest comes in and the fruit is smaller than usual, we may add an additional pineapple to your shipment. Fully ripe pineapples vary from green to gold, depending on growing conditions. The shell coloring of a pineapple is not an indication of ripeness or shelf life. Our pineapples are hand-picked for ripeness the day they are shipped and will not continue to ripen after they are harvested.

I sent two pineappples each for Mother’s Day to my sister in Seattle, niece in Woodland, CA and daughter in Stockton, CA and they all loved it. They all came in good quality, not so ripe and were all sweet when opened. I am so glad Maui Gols did not fail me. Will order more.

The box of pineapples was a gift to a person who has contributed much to Maui (following the fires).
