Parobek Plumbing & Air Conditioning

We were interested in having any water softener installed. We had Jon Sampson come out for an initial visit to tell us what was needed. He was very knowledgeable and very professional.
We had culligan come prior for comps and the person sent for consult wasn't very knowledgeable about the pluming side of the install and that was subcontracted out. I didn't get a good feel for them and Jon knew all the answers we had.
We chose Parobek and the install was scheduled for 2/16 Friday. Terry Cook showed up promptly at 830 am as scheduled. He was an expert plumber and knew exactly how to tackle the difficult install ahead. The house was not pre plumbed for a water softener and we have APEX and wanted to keep APEX with this install. He was sent to this install alone and handled everything flawlessly. The only hiccup was the company didn't send him with enough pre charged batteries for the expansion tool. He had to call for another person to bring him a new battery. The only problem with that it also needs charged. So there was 2 hours of wait time for batteries to charge.
Terry handled the issues flawless and found work needing completed yet while them batteries charged to move forward with the project. He didn't take a lunch break, didn't take a break and worked from 830 am till 8:15 pm. Is attention to details and exemplary work ethics is something that sets him apart from others.
I hope Terrys company definitely compensates their employees that set the standard of professionalism for their company. He is definitely setting the example for Parobeks front line.

Had a malfunctioning water softener - these guys quoted me around $250 to swing by and fix. They came by and switched up some cables and called it a day.

Days later, water softener malfunctions again. They say it's time to warranty it I was like ok do I get some kind of reimbursement it seems like you couldn't get the job done and they said only in the form "credit". If you want us to swing by again to fix it'll be $750 but we'll credit you the $250. What in the world kind of deal is that

Stay away and take your money elsewhere and learn from my mistake.

Jarrett swung through for our 6 month check-up and made sure that everything was working smoothly. He even took the time to explain some of the basics of an AC unit to a 1st time homeowner. Friendly and approachable. He'll be treated to an Italian Ice when my shop opens next spring near Lowe's. 5/5 service

About a month ago, this company, Parobek Plumbing, worked a major project for my neighbor which required a large amount of digging in their side yard. That part of the yard is immediately adjacent to my yard. When digging a giant hole they heaped the dirt/mud, and some equipment onto my yard also walking over my grass and absolutely massacring and killing that part of MY yard. (see pictures) I sent a letter and pictures to the owner, Charlie Parobek, explaining the situation and how it could have been prevented or at least mitigated had they ask me before they started ruining my yard. It will cost me several hundred dollars to repair my yard not to mention the many hours of labor I will have to endure to repair the damage.

I asked him if he would take responsibility for his workers and at least pay me for some of the materials I will have to buy to fix this mess. To date he has remained silent and I take that as a big "finger" to the face. I was hoping he would be a stand up guy and do the responsible thing, but I guess I was wrong. I would certainly never hire this company for anything!

Parobek did great with scheduling and addressing our kitchen faucet slow drip, and servicing our HVAC. Nicolas Clayson was very helpful in diagnosing our kitchen leak and walking me through the cartridge and repair; Anthony Maldonado was great with inspecting our HVAC and replacing the capacitor. Kudos to the whole crew!

Daniel was very friendly and did my annual AC check. He was nice enough to also replace my AC filters which are in the ceiling.

Had a foul septic smell that we could not figure out, so Daniel from Parobek went nuclear and pumped high-density smoke into the septic cleanout. It immediately identified the source of the leak, so it proved to be much more precise than going by smell alone. While they were under the house they also fixed loose pipes without jacking up the quote. They even corrected previous plumbing errors. In the long run, I should have went with these guys from the beginning because they won't give up until they solve the problem, and they fully guarantee their work.

Marcos was awesome, just like everyone else I've dealt with at this company. He was super nice, very knowledgeable and was upfront about everything. I've had two experiences with this company and both have been fantastic...Well, not why they had to come, but the service they provided. I will continue to use them for any plumbing needs.

We got back from dinner at 10:30pm and found out our AC was not blowing cold air.

We gave them a call in the morning and they sent Al Lindsey. He was so helpful and came at around 10:30am. He was punctual and was able to help us find the solution. He was also able to give us new tips/advice on how to have our home AC run more effectively.

Since then we fixed it and it's now running as good as ever. We highly recommend as Al was very informative and helpful!

These guys are the BEST! We're new customers who'll continue to use & recommend Parobek in the future.

Here's the deets - we had a Reem Water Heater that blew out (leaking water and everything) last Sunday. It was in-warranty from the manufacturer making the replacement unit fre (YAY!) but installation is steep. We got a quote from an alt. company who installed it originally which was $200 higher than Parobek.

Money savings aside, Parobek had great customer service presenting us w/ several solutions, walking us through all our options, entertaining my clueless questions, and not pushing us in any direction or pressuring at all. Travis & Patrick are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. No pressure. They even adjusted our toilet flow free of charge before we decided to buy & go w/ them.

We ended up doing some needed add-on work replacing our old water softener that was on its way out, saving us a bit of money not having them come out for a future visit. Jerry & Julio took care of everything on the install w/ haul-away of the old stuff. They checked faucets, communicated throughout, and cleaned up before leaving. The job was done efficiently with a fast turnaround.

They turned something stressful into a pleasant experience that we were ultimately okay with. Thank you Parobek!
