Very disappointing experience. Garden is lovely and quiet, but food choices are limited, food was mediocre, lot of wild Boar and beef, and chef refused my request to debone the trout. The Waiter, who was very nice but inept, never came back so that I could order a glass of wine with dinner and said he got busy in the back washing dishes after a big party came thru! You can do much better in an area that had lots of restaurant choices!

My wife and I were just walking around checking out menus and we chose this place for dinner. We had a terrific meal - I had wild boar and my wife had trout. Great meal!! And since we've been in Krakow for a week and eating out every night at great restaurants, that is saying a lot!!

One of my favorite restaurants in the old town. Lots of historic Polish pictures throughout. Very pleasant atmosphere with very nice smooth jazz and chill music in the background.
Food has been first rate at a reasonable price. Service is prompt without being annoying.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jean-Luc V.Palaiseau, France35592Jun 4, 2015
This restaurant is worth visiting. It is a pleasure to look at what you're about to eat, and not expensive, according to me.

After more than a week in Poland, I am tired of the polish cruise and looks for something different. This place meets that requirement. The place, per the name, is decorated with pictures and artifacts of the late 19th to early 20th century polish cavalry. So it is very interesting.
I ordered the pork cutlet. It is a very simple dish with very light taste. Just a simple pork chop seasoned with a few dashes of olive oil, rosemary & salt. The combo is just perfect. No wonder the place is on the Michelin list.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
