SO GOOD! We were looking for something with veggie options near our hotel so walked on over here. Quickly got a table and were served. The baba ganoush was incredible as was the falafel wrap and the fries! My friend also tried the shawarma which was also really good! Really good ambiance as well! I loved the decor and the music and the place settings! Will absolutely come back next time I'm in Miami!

Was craving some Middle Eastern food and decided to give this place a try, thanks to Yelp. Very nicely decorated although I thought the music was a little too loud.
I thought the food was excellent. Everything tasted very authentic and freshly made.
I do think Faraon is expensive for the portions you get. They definitely must measure everything.
Ordered the following :
-Faraon Vegetarian - absolutely amazing, all the dips were great! I did not think the hummus was grainy as others mentioned. Only issue was the falafel was overcooked and for $25 they really should give you increase the portions.
-Lamb sandwich/wrap- seasoned well, moist not dry, but again for $17 they could add another couple ounces more of protein so I taste less of the wrap.
-Baklava - super good, very light probably one of the best I've had.
-Arabic coffee - glad I tried but I'll pass next time
-Knafeh - rich but very good, although not with the $12.00 price tag
-White wine - 1 glass
$106 with 18% tip included, wasn't expecting to pay that much for a lunch.
Service was good, orders were taken rather timely. It did take a little long to get our bill.
A few issue I have with Faraon
1) not pleased that an 18% gratuity was automatically included in my bill. I'm usually a 20% but it bothers me when an establishment just tags on that additional charge. I also did not see that disclaimer on the menu but maybe I missed it.
2) when our order was taken for the lamb wrap I was lead to believe that I could substitute the fries for a tabbouli salad. When I got the bill I noticed they charged me $5.99 for a small salad. I mentioned this to the waiter who just basically said that's how it is. I did not pursue it because overall the food was good and overall I enjoyed the meal. However, with the prices they're charging they should have just included the tabbouli salad.
Regardless, I do recommend Faraon just keep in mind what I mentioned.
I did recommend Faraon to a Lebanese friend of mine so I'm curious what his opinion will be.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 3, 2024
The food was so good and flavorful! I will say I do feel the price was steep. The restaurant was empty. We were the only one there for the entire time it took us to eat from stepping to to stepping out. Employees really only spoke Spanish. The dip try was my favorite part but I wish they gave more to dip in it bc there was so much left over sauce. The garlic sauce that came with the main was soooo good we had to ask for more!!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant last night! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the decor was beautiful.
I ordered a vegetarian dish and it was absolutely incredible. The flavors were so rich and complex, and the dish was cooked perfectly. I also tried the lentil and it was equally delicious.
The service was top-notch. My server Nora was friendly and attentive, and she made sure that I had everything I needed.
The restaurant is decorated in a beautiful Middle Eastern style, making it a great place to take pictures.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Faron. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Middle Eastern food, amazing service, and a beautiful atmosphere.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 363858Feb 13, 2023
This is one of those hole in the wall places that will just blow your expectations out of the water. It's in a tiny strip mall but the inside is very cute and themed.
Food was very delicious. The food was spiced perfectly. Great balance of salt and umami. Meat was tender and perfectly charred. And this meat is actually GRILLED not just placed on a griddle.
The garlic cream was also absolutely divine.
Service people here were also super nice.
When I visit Miami again, I will definitely be back!!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 9, 2022
Faraon is a Lebanese restaurant located in a strip mall area. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but is nice and clean on the inside. We came Sunday late afternoon after reading some nice reviews and we were promptly and warmly received went we arrived.
We ordered the large portions of the hummus, tabbouleh salad, fried kibbeh, grape leaves, falafel and malfouf.
The food was very fresh and delicious. The fried kibbeh was really the best of the dishes we ordered. Super tasty! But the highlight of the whole meal was the dessert! The baklava is to die for!!!! Delicious! One of the best I ever had!!
Customer service was also very attentive and kind! Akram was really nice and he did a great job!
Definitely will come back again!Helpful 9Thanks 1Love this 10Oh no 0 - Bob E.Miami Beach, FL1051116Feb 27, 2023

Baba Ganoush--pretty good, could have been charred more, no smokey notes * * * *
Falafel--just ok * * *
Stuffed Grape Leaves--very good * * * *
Yebrak Malfouf--love that they have this * * * *
Tabouleh--too dry * * *
Kibbeh--amazing, moist, fresh, flavorful! * * * * *
Pita--thin, dry, Publix-grade * *
Extra Filet Mignon skewer--kind of expensive, 5 little-more-than bite-size pieces for $13? see photo
All in all, way better than average. a bit more expensive than casual take-out kind of places but the quality is also much much better and you can see that they went to the effort to create a very pleasant dining room compared to many middle eastern places. The people working here are quite nice too.

I was in the area and used my Yelp app, to see what appealed to me food wise. This led me to Faraon. I sampled their lunch special - which consisted of a protein, (I chose chicken), some rice with almond slivers, and 4 mini sides. The food was pleasant. However, I hated the fact despite sitting in I was given a paper plate. I want to eat off a proper plate if I am dining in, rather than feeling like I was doing takeout. Not to mention such a waste of resources, I am a fan of protecting the planet rather than harboring more and more trash/rubbish being dumped in land mines. The decor was pleasant.
