PZL P.11g - Kobuz - Polish Fighter Plane - IBG 72523

The P.11g was a variant of the P.11c. 90 aircraft were commissioned and nicknamed the "Kobuz". Production however never made it past the prototype stage with the outbreak of WWII. The prototype was evacuated to Lwow and Wielicko near Kowel. Drafted into the army, it took part in battles on September 14th and 15th and scored two victories with Lt. H. Szczesny. The aircraft was eventually taken into service with the Romanian Air Force.
