Merkava Mk.3D Early, Israel Main Battle Tank - Meng TS-001

This is Meng's model of the Merkava Mk.3D in 1/35 scale, the main battle tank in service with the Israeli Defense Forces. The Merkava Mk.3D is an improved version of the Merkava Mk.III, armed with a panoramic command sight, a 120 mm gun, and a BAZ gunner sight. Removable armor plates significantly increase the tank's protective ability on the turret's roof and the sides. This very well-equipped tank participated in the second Lebanon war in 2006, operation "Cast Lead" in the Gaza Strip in the winter of 2009, and security actions along the Israeli border. The Mk.3D is also called LIC, which stands for Low-Intensity Conflict and is optimized for Lurgan and counter-insurgency warfare. The fully assembled model is 25.8cm long and 11.1cm wide.
