What is the difference between pomalować and namalować ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
What is the difference between pomalować and namalować ?Feel free to just provide example sentences.
They are both perfective verb but I heard that they have a little bit different meaning each other. Could you guys explain me about the differenc and show me some examples?

1) pomalować:
You use it to say that you have just painted a real object that needed to be covered by paint/dye for better look, maintenace etc. You can say wich object you have painted and wchich way.
Examples:
Pomalowałem stół niebieską matową farbą. (I have coated a table with matt blue paint).
Wczoraj pomalowała usta. (She put on lipstick yesterday)
2) namalować
It means that you have painted a piece of art (picture, painting) or painted something in that piece of art.
Examples:
Namalowałem obraz (I've painted a picture)
Namaluję Twój portret (I'm going to paint your portrait)
Notice:
Pomalowałem ścianę (I've painted a wall)
Namalowalem kwiaty na ścianie (I've painted flowers on the wall)
