@cndicchang Yes it is an prefix. You add it to verb. sample: en: I have to run today a bit. pl: Muszę pobiegać dzisiaj trochę.
en: You will work out a bit more and u will be strong. pl: Poczwiczysz trochę więcej i będziesz silny. You add this prefix when u want to say that some one or you need to make an action of the verb and not when he/she/it or you are making it in same time when u speak about it.

Czytać is infinitive and means that you haven't read it yet (you still read it). Przeczytać means that you have already read it, (Ja przeczytałem - I have read it yet. Poczytać is really hard to explain and you probably won't have to use it ever. :)

Above guy explain first 2 words so, i will explain what's mean poczytać. You use this word when u need to read some thing. like: I need to read about it. pl: Muszę poczytać na ten temat.

@Mises543 'po' is prefix or things like that, adding the meaning of...well, kind of obligations? And 'posłuchać' is similar for 'słuchać'?
