It rather operates in one way.
It tastes good - to smakuje dobrze
You can express the that you tried the taste of something but i can imagine only example as above: Lubie smakować nowe potrawy - I like to taste/sample new dishes.
Smaczny = tasty

What would be the difference?

@agnieja Thanks for all the examples ^^
Mam smak na .....? Here it implies that I have like the "desire" to eat sth, right? As though this noun "smak" means "desire to eat?
Also posmakowac is the imperative right?
I thought it was only for the perfective case... 0.0
As I said... thanks a lot for your answer ^^

@ifernan19
mam smak(a) na..=mam ochotę na ("I want to eat/"feel the taste of..")
"posmakować" is only in perfective aspect, so you can use it only in future or past tense, or in imperative:
(ty) posmakuj
(my) posmakujmy
(wy) posmakujcie
posmakować - infinitive, perfective aspect (to test the flavour; to suit one's taste; to experience something and enjoy it)
->Kto che posmakowac? (Who wants some?/ Who wants to try?)
->Chciałem posmakować sławy. (I wanted to be famous/ "I wanted to feel the taste of fame")
->Chcę przeżyć przygodę i posmakować życia. (I want to
zasmakować - infinitive, perfective aspect (to come to like sth; about food: to suit one's taste )
->Zasmakowałem wzdobywaniu wiedzy. (I've found learning enjoyable/I came to like learning)
->Chę zasmakować życia. (I want to feel the taste of life/ I want to get experience and enjoy life)
->Zasmakowała mi ta potrawa. (I've liked the taste ofthis meal./I've found this meal tasty.)
rozsmakować się - infinitive, perfective aspect (to start having a penchant for something; to like the flavour of something)
Rozsmakowałam się w muzyce. (I have a penchant for music)
smakować - (to test the flovour; about food, drinks: to have good taste; to have taste - salty, sweet, etc.) infinitive, imperfect aspect
--imperfect--
Smakuję zupę. (I'm testing the flavour of the soup)
Smakowałem zupę. (I was testing the flavour of the soup)
Będę smakować zupę. (I'll be testing the flavour of the soup)
Zupa mi smakuje. (I'm enjoying the taste of the soup)
Zupa mi smakowała. (I was enjoying the taste of the soup)
Zupa będzie mi smakowała. (I'll be enjoying the taste of the soup)
--perfective--
Posmakuję zupę. (I'll test the flavour of the soup)
Posmakowałem zupę. (I tested the flavour of the soup)
As you can see, "smakować" is imperfect aspect, and we make perfective aspect by adding prefix to the verb.
I hope this will help a little.
