Of course, you can also use
prosty -> bardziej prosty -> najbardziej prosty
some adjectives don't even have form without "bardziej" like "zapomniany"

prosty -> prostszy -> najprostszy | prosty -> bardziej prosty -> najbardziej prosty would both be correct, but only reffering to it as "easy"! (Although, prostszy sounds more natural). "Grupa A miała na teście prostsze pytania". "Prosty" also means "straight" (of course by shape). You can't really say something is straighter.
