Dusty Morningwood Posted June 15, 2023 Share Posted June 15, 2023 Sold This is a Navy Arms (Pedersoli) rolling block action with a threaded, chambered and, I assume, headspaced .45-70 barrel. The action is made of modern steel and can handle many smokeless cartridges. The action is clean, tight and complete. The 26" barrel is 1 1/8" across flats and has a mirror bright bore. Surface has many small scratches, but nothing bad. It appears that some gunsmith had shortened a longer barrel and got everything done except cutting extractor channel in barrel.
