Making It Up: Photographic Fictions (2018) Marta Weiss Dodgson photographed children feigning sleep on numerous occasions. Here he also experimented with double exposure to evoke the contents of the slumbering girl’s dream. The photograph dates from the same time that he wrote Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, most of which takes place in a dream world.
