This Willys Jeep Wagon got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1959 Willys-Overland station wagon was refurbished and modified prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2021. It is finished in white and gray and powered by an aluminum 215ci Buick V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a dual-range transfer case, rebuilt front and rear differentials, gray cloth front bucket seats, aftermarket gauges, and a CD stereo. This Willys wagon is now offered in Oregon with build records and a clean Idaho title.
The exterior has been refinished in gray with a white roof and side panels. Equipment includes tinted windows, dual mirrors, chrome bumpers and trim, and a polished exhaust tip.
Steel wheels are finished in white and wear Merit All Country tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs.
The cabin features seats trimmed in gray cloth and vinyl, along with matching door panels and a body-color metal dashboard. Sound insulation has been installed, wood strips line the rear floor, and additional equipment includes a heater, a floor-mounted shifter, a turn-signal switch, and an aftermarket CD stereo.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 90-mph speedometer along with an aftermarket tachometer and ancillary gauges. The five-digit odometer was reportedly reset during the refurbishment and shows 500 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The aluminum 215ci Buick V8 was rebuilt in 2014 and is equipped with a Rochester four-barrel carburetor, a 12-volt electrical system, an aluminum radiator, and an electric fan.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case. The front and rear differentials were rebuilt in 2014.
