This Willys Jeep Wagon got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1946 Willys-Overland Jeep Station Wagon is powered by a 134ci inline-four linked with a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive, and it is finished in maroon, brown, and tan over red vinyl upholstery. The truck was acquired out of California by the seller 12 years ago and has since spent time in Wyoming and Virginia. Equipment includes maroon-painted 15″ steel wheels, a split tailgate, under-seat storage compartments, a rear bench seat, a cassette radio, and an open-element air cleaner. This Willys station wagon is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual and a clean Virginia title.
The body is finished in maroon contrasted by newer paintwork in brown and tan that was completed during previous ownership. Peeled and chipped paint, scratches, and other blemishes are noted on maroon-finished portions of the body.
Maroon-painted 15″ steel wheels feature bright hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with 7.60-15 BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires.
The split tailgate opens to reveal a matching spare in the rear cargo area.
The seller notes that the 60/40-split front bench and the rear bench were reupholstered in red vinyl in 2007 along with the headliner. Speakers and a cassette stereo were also fitted before the seller acquired the vehicle. Other appointments include wooden door and side panels, manual-crank windows, storage compartments underneath the front seats, and a black vinyl front floor covering. Corrosion is reported on seat mounts.
The white two-spoke steering wheel fronts an aftermarket tachometer and gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. A 70-mph speedometer is located in the center of the dashboard along with supplementary readouts, and the seller notes that the speedometer and coolant temperature and oil pressure gauges are nonfunctional. The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles, though the seller states it is not accurate.
The 134ci inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The seller states that the coolant, engine oil, and transmission fluid were replaced in July 2022.
