The Way of the Cross Leads Home
Our salvation is not based upon the condition of our own opinions, but on the condition of God’s commandments. Mt 15:7-9 There are not multiple ways to be saved, but one. Eph 4:5 This one way was written in heaven, Ps 119:89 prophesied by the prophets, Isa 35:8-10 preached by the apostles, Col 1:23 and provided by the death of God’s only begotten son, Jesus Christ. Jn 3:16; Jn 14:6 The strait and narrow way that leads to life eternal Mt 7:14 was first preached on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2 and to every convert thereafter. How that Jesus died for ours sins, was buried, and arose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Cor 15:1-4. Every Christian convert that heard this gospel believed, and confessed Jesus was the Christ; And all repented, and were baptized into the body (the church) of Christ. Acts 2:38,47; 1 Cor 12:13,27; Col 1:18; Rom 6:3,4 There are many ways to convey it, but only one authorized way to be saved by it, and that is: obey the gospel of Christ. Rom 6:17,18
